Key upgrade resources

Grounded 2’s upgrade loop revolves around a few rare resources hidden across Brookhollow Park. Most are one-time finds tied to keys, chests or story progress.

Spicy Glob

The Spicy Glob sits in a buried chest in Pine Hill. To reach it you need the Sizzling Key, a Tier II Omni-Shovel to dig, and a Red Soldier Ant Buggy to crunch through the dead roots blocking the route. See Buggies for how to get your first mount.

Mint Glob

The Mint Glob is found in a keyed buried chest elsewhere in the park. Globs of both types feed elemental weapon upgrades — spicy and minty damage matter most for late-game fights like King Dozer.

02

Grass Seeds

Grass Seeds only drop when you chop Grass Flowers with an Omni-Axe — normal grass gives nothing. They’re used for planting and building recipes, so grab every Grass Flower you pass.

03

Milk Molars

Milk Molars are collectibles that permanently boost your stats, hidden across the park — including a Mega Milk Molar near Battlefield 1992 in Pine Hill. They’re the same family of collectible as the original Grounded, but with new spawn spots in the sequel.

04

Boss materials

Bosses like AXL drop materials used to craft unique armor, weapons and furniture (Nightstalker armor, AXL’s Talon, the Black Fang Greatbow). See Bosses for the full breakdown.

05

Items people ask about (from the original)

Some well-known Grounded items — lint, spigots and water pressure, the fairy house, the sour katana and gold cards — belong to the original Grounded, not the sequel. If a search for those led you here, the Grounded vs Grounded 2 guide explains what carried over and what didn’t.
